do you remember my birthday post from last year? and all the goals i set for myself? well i just looked at it again. its amazing how much has changed in the eight months since i wrote that.

i have started practicing yoga on a regular basis.
i have not lost twenty lbs. but i have made very positive steps towards that goal.
i will not be returning to school. though i did quit my job.
i will not quite make it to five thousand. i had A LOT of unexpected expenses, but i'm getting there!
i will take a real vacation. absolutely. (plus i moved to the caribbean!)
i have invested in a good camera.
i will probably not ride in a hot air balloon this year.
i didn't exactly train my dog. but i did the responsible thing and gave her up for adoption so someone could give her the love and attention she deserved. (this one is bittersweet.)
i will (and probably already have) finished twenty books.
i am sticking to a budget! yay!
i have given handmade presents.
i did finish decorating. and then i moved. so now i have to finish decorating again. just as soon as i finish unpacking.
i run a 5k at least five times a week. unofficially.
i will not be getting my real estate license this year. or until i return to the states.
i will learn to speak french. but i've decided to learn german first. and that is going great!
i have found a regular church. now i just need to start attending regularly.
i was visiting my grandparents very regularly, before the move.
i am trying to blog regularly. my internet is shady. its not my fault.
i am determined to stop biting my nails.. forever. but it hasn't happened yet.
so there is an update for you!
